There was strong consideration given by Cosmetic Surgical Solutions to open our own office surgery suite and we chose not to.  We considered cost, convenience, privacy and most important, safety.  After evaluating these parameters, we concluded that office surgery would not be best for our patients.
Because most cosmetic procedures are self-paid, physicians and patients have an incentive to keep costs as low as possible. And because there are no insurance payments or federal reimbursements, oversight is scant.  We could have setup an operating room in our offices without being accredited or regulated by the Nebraska Department of Health.  At the same time, we welcome peer review, a service  not available in a doctor's office surgery suite.

Clarkson West Outpatient Surgery is certified as a Medicare Provider and is Accredited by the Nebraska State, Department of Health as an Ambulatory Surgery Center.   Clarkson West requires specialty training before a doctor is permitted to perform cosmetic surgery.

Costs to patients having cosmetic surgical procedures at Clarkson West  are very competitive as well as being affordable.
